From Delivery Driver to Franchisee to Area Developer
Vasili Bykau joined Sarpino’s USA in 2003 as a delivery driver for a Chicago franchisee. He quickly rose through the ranks to becoming a Sarpino’s USA franchise owner himself. He has excelled in every position he’s held within our franchise network. Vasili was even our very first South Florida franchisee, opening locations in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and Miramar. These restaurants quickly became our top-performing units systemwide.
Last September, we appointed Vasili to a new role within our organization: Area Developer. In this role, Vasili is leveraging two decades of experience as a Sarpino’s USA franchisee to spearhead our development in South Florida. He is focused on enhancing franchisee support and business operations, as well as driving overall system growth and unit-level economics.

Throughout his tenure, Vasili has helped train and develop numerous employees. Several of his employees followed in his footsteps and became Sarpino’s USA franchisees themselves. Did you know that 35% of our franchisees began their careers with Sarpino’s USA at the ground level? Last year, Vasili sold his three South Florida locations to their respective general managers, empowering a new generation of franchise ownership.
