Existing Restaurant Managers
35% of our franchisees began their Sarpino’s career at the ground level, working in our restaurants as delivery drivers, cashiers, and pizza makers, and rose through the ranks to become store managers before ultimately owning their very own Sarpino’s USA pizza franchise.
Take Vasili Bykau for example, whose first job in America was a Sarpino’s USA pizza delivery driver. He joined our brand in 2004 and worked his way up to pizza maker, then manager, and then became a multi-unit Sarpino’s USA franchisee with three successful locations. Today Vasili is our South Florida market’s Area Director.
Following in Vasili’s footsteps are Oleksii Shhvedchykov and Sanzhar Ismailov, who are spearheading Sarpino’s USA development in our fast-growing South Florida market. Like Vasili, Oleksii started as a Sarpino’s USA pizza delivery driver in 2017 and after six months was promoted to shift manager. He worked as a shift manager at our Fort Lauderdale restaurant for one year before being promoted to general manager of our Miramar restaurant when it opened in 2018. Now, he is gearing up to open his own Sarpino’s USA restaurant as a franchisee in Miramar.
Similarly, Sanzhar Ismailov is purchasing a high-revenue Sarpino’s USA location in Florida at just 19 years old. Sanzhar immigrated to the U.S. from his native Kazakhstan only a few years ago. He started at Sarpino’s USA as a delivery driver and worked closely alongside the owner of our Fort Lauderdale restaurant, which gave him a vision for growing within the company.
