First of 20 New Units Planned Over the Next Five Years.

Sarpino’s USA is growing again as we expand in South Florida with new restaurants planned for Weston and Pompano Beach. This will bring us to a total of 5 locations across South Florida, a market where we plan to add 20 new restaurants over the next five years.

Spearheading this growth is new franchisee Kateryna Tserkovniuk, who moved to the U.S. in 2016 from Ukraine. She began her tenure at Sarpino’s as a cashier in the Ft. Lauderdale restaurant, worked her way up to regional manager, and recently signed her first franchise agreement to open two stores in Weston and Pompano Beach.

“I am absolutely thrilled to become one of Sarpino’s newest franchisees,” said Tserkovniuk. “Sarpino’s gave me a chance when I first arrived in this country, like it has for many other franchisees, and now I get to pay that opportunity forward as a multi-unit owner. We’re looking to open both new locations over the next several months and intend to hire about 10 to 15 employees per restaurant.”

Tserkovniuk saw the opportunity to join the booming pizza delivery industry as a solid investment and a way to give back to the community she now calls home.

“Sarpino’s is and will always be a brand that is about giving back – it’s wired into our DNA,” said Tserkovniuk. “As the war in Ukraine wages on, I can’t help but worry about my father, brother, and other family members still there. Over the past few months, we have been donating $1 from each order on Mondays and Tuesdays to the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Cooper City, which is spearheading a Ukrainian resettlement refugee project. We’ve raised nearly $10,000 thanks to generosity of our customers.”

Tserkovniuk had always wanted to become a small business owner and thought now was the best time to join the booming multi-billion-dollar pizza industry because it has steadily remained a pandemic-resistant, and even recession-resistant, business opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs because pizza delivery remains a feel-good and affordable consumer proposition. Furthermore, and what makes Sarpino’s stand out from the competition, is average restaurant sales exceeding $1.35 million and an authentic, old-world approach to making food with a relevant and inclusive menu. Pair that with our delivery platform and you have a winning recipe for business success, which creates better opportunities for growth and profitability.

Since our U.S. launch nearly 20 years ago, Sarpino’s has grown into one of the most trusted, independent, locally owned and operated pizza delivery franchises. Today, we have nearly 50 restaurants spread across the U.S. and we’re actively looking to grow with the right owners. For more information on franchise ownership, visit sarpinosfranchise.com.
