We’re proud to officially announce that Sarpino’s USA has opened our first restaurant in the Denver, Colo. suburb of Westminster. This marks our brand’s first location in Colorado. This Denver-area restaurant kicks off a string of expansion led by franchisees Samar Sawaged and Sid Demirovski. They plan to open four additional locations across the Denver metro area in the coming years.

Located at 7243 N. Federal Blvd., the Westminster location generated some excitement for its Colorado debut. It awarded 10 lucky winners free pizza for a year if they signed up for the loyalty program before the end of September.
Sarpino’s USA is Different
“Sarpino’s will offer something different to the Denver area,” said Samar Sawaged. “Our artisanal approach to delivery pizza-making only uses from-scratch methods and fresh ingredients. You can literally taste the difference in quality compared to other delivery concepts. Plus, we offer an entire vegan menu. This features pizzas, calzones, pastas, sandwiches, salads, and even plant-based tenders. We are thrilled to be opening our first of five Sarpino’s locations in Westminster. We look forward to growing the brand in Denver for many years to come.”
Owner Background
Sawaged and her business partner Sid Demirovski are Denver-area entrepreneurs with more than 30 years of combined experience in business ownership. Demirovski has a longstanding history with Sarpino’s USA beginning at age of 18. This is when he was hired as a manager at our Evanston, Ill. franchise. He worked with the local franchisee for six years. It’s how he learned the ins and outs of our operations. He eventually relocated to Denver in 2020. In 2021, Demirovski met long-time Denver resident Sawaged. In 2022, the duo signed a multi-unit franchise agreement to bring Sarpino’s USA to Colorado.
What We Think

Since entering the U.S. in 2002, our delivery focused Sarpino’s has grown to nearly 50 locations. We’ve developed a reputation for blending Old World Italian authenticity and American ingenuity. We offer a robust menu with roots traced back to Calabria in Southern Italy. And we feature a convenient, seamless, and technology driven customer experience.
Today, Sarpino’s offers more than 60 specialty and gourmet pizzas. We feature roughly 20 calzones, 20 sandwiches, 12 pastas, and 11 salads. Our menu also includes three bone-in wing flavors, a variety of appetizers, plus an entire separate vegan menu. In a world of sameness and low-quality, factory-made pizzas, Sarpino’s USA has forged an entirely different path. We make our food from scratch. And we take an artisanal approach to delivery pizza-making simply not found in big chains.
