Here we grow again! Please meet new Sarpino’s USA Franchisee Natasha James, who recently assumed ownership of our Gurnee, Illinois pizza delivery restaurant.
Natasha is originally from Zion, Illinois in Lake County. She has been an educator for 28 years, currently serving as an assistant principal. She was introduced to Sarpino’s USA by her nephew, who was working at the restaurant under the previous owner. While Natasha has never worked in the restaurant business before, her nephew’s passion for Sarpino’s USA coupled with our proven processes and hands-on support sold her on this new venture.
What’s Next for New Sarpino’s USA Franchisee Natasha James
“I’ll be able to retire from education in the next few years. I have been looking for the next thing so when my nephew approached me with the Sarpino’s USA franchise opportunity, I was intrigued,” said James. “Once we began the discovery process and I met the corporate team and learned more about the support offered – I felt confident that this could be my second act.”
Second Act
Natasha assumed ownership of the Gurnee franchise in December 2022. She then made some updates to the restaurant and reopened its doors last month.
“I am so excited to be a part of Sarpino’s USA as one of its newest franchisees. I can’t wait to kick off this new endeavor. I’m looking forward to growing the restaurant’s customer base, increasing brand awareness, and providing jobs to people in the community,” added James.

Natasha has appointed her nephew as general manager of the restaurant. She will then make the gradual transition out of education to make Sarpino’s USA her full-time focus.
